Author Guidelines

Manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Informatics and Digital Business (JIBD) must be original works that have not been previously published or are not under consideration elsewhere. Articles must be prepared using the journal template and comply with accepted academic writing standards.

Authors are required to apply the journal’s recommended citation and bibliography style (e.g., APA Style) consistently. Examples of citation formats and references are provided in the journal’s manuscript template and author guidelines.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Copyright Notice

Authors submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Informatics and Digital Business (JIBD) confirm that the work is original and grant the journal the right to publish the article. Copyright of the published articles remains with the authors, while the journal is granted the right of first publication.

Published articles may be used and distributed in accordance with the journal’s licensing terms, provided that proper attribution is given to the authors and the journal.
